The Colander restaurant is Trail’s most famous restaurant, with guests travelling from far & wide for classic, traditional, Italian food that has been perfected over the years.

Quaint coffee shops, such as The Doorway, can start your mornings positively with their fantastic coffee and tea, and some fascinating shopping while you wait. Cafe Americano invites you to lunch, serving everything homemade. If you’re interested in fine dining for lunch or dinner, Cafe Michael’s and the newly-opened Pino’s have delicious options with reasonable pricing.

The downtown region of Trail is also home to some great Chinese food restaurants such as Double Happiness and Ace of Taste.

In keeping with the theme of diversity, the accommodation options in the greater Trail area can cover precisely what you are looking for. As a more established brand, the Best Western is located just a short walk from downtown Trail. Also available are the Glenwood Motel & Suites, the Ray-Lyn Motel,  the Beaver Falls Motel & RV Park, and the Trail Motel.

Trail is also home to two quaint Bed and Breakfasts with stunning facilities and locations. The River Haus offers luxurious rooms and is located right along side the Columbia River in beautiful East Trail. For a more secluded experience, the Genelle House is only a 15 minute drive out of downtown Trail, located in the small community of Genelle.

If camping is more your style, there are also a few options for you to choose from. Right in Trail is the Trail RV Park, along the main highway, close to our local mall, the Waneta Plaza. The City of Trail RV Park offers electrical and water hook-up and has a sani-dump on site. Champion Lakes Provincial Park is located just outside of Fruitvale, and the Kiwanis Beaver Creek Provincial Campground is located near the Trail Airport in Waneta. For additional convenience, a FREE sani-dump is also located on Rossland Avenue, in Trail’s historic Gulch.

With a plethora of options available, we hope you will be able to find just what you need to satisfy your hunger and comfortably host you as guests in the Trail Region.
